Boys Farm is seeking energetic married Christian couples to join with us in our ministry! Our motto is “Building boys rather than mending men” and houseparenting provides a unique opportunity in local home missions to provide love, guidance, and discipleship to children in family crisis. Is your family called to minister to children? Would you like the opportunity to help transform young lives with the power of the Gospel, and the structure of a stable and loving home environment? Houseparenting could be the perfect opportunity for you to serve the LORD locally and have a tremendous impact for the Kingdom!
As a House Parent, you will manage the children in your house, and will be part of a team like-minded couples on our campus. House parents help establish and maintain a steady daily routine for the children that you are responsible for, including: waking up, breakfast, transportation to school or appointments, daily chores and daily leisure activities and exercise, study time, personal hygiene, devotions and bedtime.
You will keep medical files and related reports for children, and also manage school and extracurricular special activities. You will maintain inspection-ready upkeep of the cottage facility and vehicle, with safety as your top priority.
